i was building the narrow block because thats what i had from my old gsx.

but what i want to know is will all my stuff fit in the wideblock if i chose to forget the cash i have in the narrow.

forged pistons, chryoed crankand and chryoed rods all of witch is allready balanced. Also my head is allready ported rebuilt and oringed. pluss i cant forget the waterpump with the -12an fittings that cost way too much

PLEASE tell me that i can use all this stuff with the wide block

My advice to you, if you are going to use the wide block is sell the block you have. Yes, the crank, rods, head, and water pump wil work with the wide block. But unless you find a 2.0L wide block, the pistons will not work. If you use the 2.0L crank inthe 2.4L, it will destroke the engine to 2.1L, which only lives in the upper stratosphere.

The 2.1L is a high RPM engine. All the low end torque is sacrificed for high RPM horsepower. It would require really aggressive cams and a large turbo to be worth using.

The 2.0L wide block only came here in 86-89 auto pickups. But you have to measure the lower bellhousing bolts to make sure, because there were also narrow block autos during that time as well.

You can check it out here. You're looking for the G63B that measures 13.25" across the lower bellhousing bolts, not 12.25".

Also, you may be able to get an imported wide block 2.0L. They used them in the Starion in Japan and Australia. I saw a long block on ebay go for about $350.

the Sirius-Dash motor came in other world market Starions. 2L SOHC 3 valve head I believe.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.
