Well, I really wanted to do it in a truck, but after watching all the drifting stuff, I want something I can drift too. I loved the 200SX I used to have, and they can be found easily for dirt cheap. I know it's crossbreeding, but it'd still be cool. The only reason I wanted to stay away from the Starquests is because they're kinda hard to find, and when you do, they're usually not cheap.

The reason I want to build a 4G63 is to have a showcase import motor for our business, HRT Racing. Right now all me and my Dad have are American cars, and I don't think the import world will take us seriously without one bad import motor. A Honda was my first choice because it's really the most common of the imports, but I'm not a fan of FWD, and not a fan of Hondas at all. That's why the 63 appeals to me, in my opinion, it's the most well respected non-Honda import motor out there. That's why no SR20 swap in a 200SX...

Anyway, enough rambling for tonight, post up your choices!
Well, now I've got the truck, should I do the swap? :)<br><a href='http://www.handcraftedracing.com' target='_blank'>http://www.handcraftedracing.com</a><br><a href='http://storm.prohosting.com/likness' target='_blank'>http://storm.prohosting.com/likness</a>

Starquests really arent that hard to find, you just have to look harder. Its definatly a cool car to go if you want to bridge the gap between domestic and import. It's just mean enough of a car to be taken seriously by domestic people.

Unless you still have alot of good hookups for the S12, then I odnt know why you'd go with it. I see them so rarely... but maybe its different down there. I guess you know the right modifications to make it handle good considering you raced one for so long. If that's the case go for it.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

i would say go for the mighty max. you could drift that with the right suspension setup. i just think in terms of drag racing. i would mini tub it with a 4 link and some iron plates in the bed for some weight over the rear tires and go run some easy 11s with a 16g.

I'm doing it in a D50. I know there is a LSD available-are you serious about it being driftable. What kind of suspension set up would you need?
Brake boosters should NOT NOT!!!! see boost.

you dont need anything to drift... so dont worry about that. And you get a welder and a tube bender and you can do alot
