I will look tomorrow on what I got. I know for sure I have the frt side marker lights and rear side maker lights. set of black frt bucket seats.
steering wheel with colt emblem. I have e-brake cover console that is black.

any pics of the 4g63 motor in your car w/ km trans. just need to see if there is any fitment issues I am going to run into. i.e. thermostat housing area.

I wish you chimed in yesterday Smog. I sold my 4g32 w/ 20k on rebuild to a core scrappper for $25.00. I didn't post it up here because I didn't think anybody would want it. sorry man.

I noticed your engine still has the power steering pump on it. Are you going to run p/s on your car? You say it won't run. What are the symptoms?

A bad valve won't keep it from running. Do you have fuel pressure, injector pulse,and compression? Those are majors that would keep it from running. I asked you about timing in another thread. Look on VFAQ.com for proper timing procedure. You'll get it going.

i was having a no start problem wand i had plenty fuel and spark. i added 2 grounds from the engine to the chassis and it fired right up. might be something worth trying.

The head bolts were loose due to a over heat. Put a straight edge on that block and head surface. It should not measure more than like .003".

If the head is warped than you can have it machined straight. the block on the other hand is going to be a bit more challenging. It would have had to been a major over heat to hurt the block though.

I'm not sure about you, but if I found a warped head, I would just get another one from the junkyard. Replace the valve stem seals and clean the carbon. Replace the rubber seals and it's good to go. I can get a used head for $40 complete with cams and no bent valves. 75Colt is right about the block though. It takes a major event to warp that thing. Kinda worries me about the new 4B11 in the new EVO. Why get rid of the 4G63?

I know the camshaft profiles are different from turbo to n/a. I don't know much more than that. I am sure someone else will chime in. I would check VFAQ to find more answers. I don't see why you couldn't use one though.

75Colt is correct. The cams are different, but that is the only difference in the 2.0L heads. Everything else is the same including the valves themselves and the springs. If you have any doubt, you could always just use the stuff from your other head on an NA head, but it won't make a difference. Just swap out the cams and call it good.

even at stock boost levels that cars gonna be a handful with those tires :lol: looks like it coming along nicely though. i wish you guys would hurry up and get some of these things running. i know someday im gonna get bored and want to build another one and it would suck if i got that on running before your guys stuff. :lol: seriously :twisted:

Those wheels look killer on there. Are Nissan struts a common upgrade for these? I really wanted something nice like a Koni, but there isn't much out there for a '70s Colt.

look at classiccolt.com for adjustable coil overs that a gentlemen named Charlie has for his colts.He made them. Cool place to talk to other colt guys as well.

yeah that guys a moron. he told me he had a ton of parts ready to ship for my colt. i made arrangements with him for them and then he dropped off the face of the earth. i fianlly found him on some new zealand site and he denied that hed ever talked to me. fuckin douchebag. :evil:

I agree with Matt. However, I'm always on the lookout for different ideas. You'll want a higher compression engine if you go the supercharger route. The low compression of the 1G motor (7.8:1) will kill low end power without boost. A supercharger won't build enough boost until the upper RPMs. This is also where a turbo is handy. You can have 15psi at 3500rpm with a 14b or 16g type turbo.

Still, I'd love to see what you have in mind. 2.4L DOHC high compression (9:1) motor?

How about a positive displacement roots type like the one off my 4agze? I know its on the small side but that does not require it to be on the intake manifold, but yeah the intake manifold is a hogged out type because the throttle body is on the intake side of the SC, how about some centifugal ones? i want to know the outcome, because i never seen a SC 4g motor YET, there might be some floating out there but i never saw one. It would be interesting to see.

No offense, but these claims sound like it's an eBay unit. 40lbs of boost at 3000RPM? Can you get us more details on this unit? I have a hard time believing any street designed supercharger can make that much boost. I don't know how much boost the Top Fuel cars make, but this supercharger sounds more like something you would find on those cars. 20spi max is about what I have seen on street style superchargers, never mind the OE units.

kinda off topic, how many psi does the millenia S put out? the miller cycle engine have a delayed intake cam opening. I know he said ifs off a 3.8 the mazda i belive is a 2.3 i just wanted to ask if anyone know how many psi does it run stock to get 210 hp 210 tq.
