My racecar is still running.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

Technically, if I put back on the distributor pickup and put a battery in it, I have a (not so impressive) 2 Liter SOHC Pony 4G63... removing that soon though.

Technically my 89 Colt GT is a 2.0L swap. :D

My Datsun 510 is swapped, but not running. I took on too much at once, but with some time and cash, it will run.
Do it in a Datsun!

Mine is daily driving and has been for about 3 years now :) It is basically a stock 4G63 with a D50 5 speed. It's fast, it looks great, it hauls stuff, and it is different than most.

84 D50 5speed with a stock 4g63. Running daily for just over 2 years. No major problems yet. I like the older D50 look.
I get scared when I shift hard through the gears (a little clunky) so I mostly drive around and do long hard pulls in 2nd or 3rd gear for fun every now and then. Recently gave the truck to my dad and he is the caretaker for now.

motor was done by mitsu graveyard and it didnt have any thrust play when i dropped the motor in. pressure plate is an act 2600 motor was primed befor start first start up i never sat on the clutch at a light or even sat in traffic. its either due to the clutch setup the clevite 77's or shitty machine work. regardless im not using the same builder or bearings next time.
