I've seen the complaints about the cable clutch so I started my conversion to hydro...Heres some pics... I used all parts from my 1g eclipse.

This is the whole clutch box assembly mounted. (You can see the alum spacer I made)

The clutch pedal, that was drilled out and rewelded onto the the eclipse rod.

This is bracket, that I cut off the eclipse brake/clutch assembly and welded it on the D50 assmebly.

So some things I still need to do, cut trim down the backet on the firewall so it looks nicer. Weld it in, paint it up... On the side, the thing seems damn strong.... I'm not sure if I'm going to even build the support braket. I mean that plate isn't even welded in yet and I can't make it budge. However, I'm not pusing against the slave cylinder yet, so I might just for reliability.
If I could do it over, I would move the clutch box thing closer to the brake. As it sat it hits the gas pedal, so I had to bend it to make it clear...
