have all my drivetrain parts for my colt now

i just ordered the flexplate from buschur today. now i have everything to put a th-350 behind my 2.4 "mountain" motor
i took advantage of the price drop he mentioned in an earlier thread and saved myself almost $250 hard earned dollars. now i need to get the motor out of the machine shop, buy cams, a new front cover/oil pump, assemble it, and get it in there. its still a ways off for me to get it running but im that much closer now. the chassis is up in redding getting a 6 point cage and prepped for a mini tub so i can run 10" tires. i can only fit 6" now
i also need to by a spool and a 3rd member for my narrowed 9" rear. i have an empty 4g63 long block in there now for mock up purposes and it looks like everything will fit. i had a buddy of mine chop the neck of the water outlet on the thermo housing off and weld -16 fitting on there and it clears the firewall just fine. i would recommend this for all you guys who want to have street driven cars as it is a good thing to have cross flow through the head on an aluminum head/iron block combo. ill keep this thread updated as i go. it might be long times between posts as im not at a point where im real gung ho just yet. heres a pic of what the colt will look like with the mini tub,

What's a mountain motor?
And.. this makes 3 official 2.4 buildups... 2 wideblocks.. and I think you're doing a narrow block (with an auto).

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

lol, its what the v8 guys call the big inch big blocks. i used it as a joke since the 2.4 is the "big block" of the family.

im sure it would cost about $100-$115. i got it done as a favor but the fitting cost me $30 alone. if your cool with that ill hit my buddy up. the cool thing about this over buschurs is that you can use the stock thermostat.
lol thanks
