Hi , I thought you might like to see some pics of my lancer . Engine spec : 8 valve bottom end,16v evo head fully lightened & balanced, starion flywheel with uprated cosworth clutch, forged pistons, mulit layered steel head gasket, gas flowed head , evo 6 turbo & manifold, home made 3inch down pipe and exhaust, intercooled & charge cooled, hoping to run 2 bar of boost (around 380bhp)when fully run in.

that looks real good!

Did you have any issues low mounting the Evo 6 turbo with the factory manifold? How close is the turbo and downpipe to the engine mount and the steering box?

Cheers

Hi, had to make a downpipe the evo one will not fit hits the engine mount,
the turbo is very close to the steering box but do fit.

Nice car!

That is one thick manifold spacer! How thick is it and where did you get it?

I was able to get away with 1/2" (12.7mm) spacer after I ground the block and the turbine housing.

Looks really nice. Is your bottom end originally from a n/a setup?

More engine pics! What did you do for the rear water outlet? I assume that's an EVO intake manifold as well. Fill us in on all the small details that can help us out.

Ahh so to use an Evo4+ manifold you need a spacer also?

hrmm.. I'm faced with a problem them. I have power steering on mine and I think the turbo exhaust housing may be too close to the power steering lines and box if I use a evo4+ manifold.
