Good afternoon.
In my rebuild i outsmarted myself and said, "I'll put this right here so i won't loose it"
Well, i forgot where this special hiding spot is and can't put the rest of the front cover on without it..
Let me know if anyone would have one
It's the crank gear that runs the balance shaft and oilpump on the 2.6 G54b engine.
NOT the timing chain one.
PS can i just install these jet valves and remove the adjusting screw and nut?
What i'm finding out is my stock 225k+ mile cam actually had about .005 more lift than the quest cam that looked like the head was rebuilt not too long ago..???
i e-mailed you a few times, check your junk mail? e-mail me your address(been waiting for a week lol) and ill send it to you, like i said in the e-mail pay it forword =D
yes sir, i sent it on friday. should be there monday or tuesday, i sent a few emails to you but they keep coming back saying your not accepting mail from my e-mail. i donno whats going on.
Yeah, was so excited to get it i bolted it all on and forgot to put a little 10mm bolt in the lower guide.
I still have to find all the clutch bolts and pic up a new pilot bearing this morning.
Then I can put the motor to the trans and drop it in and hook it up.
Save EVERYTHING! Man I jsut can't think that i did this to myself of hiding these parts..
I just spent two days looking for the (new) timing chain guides and had to take the front cover off again (braking the gasket of course) and found out I forgot to include one oilpump bolt too!!
