RWD JMF Intake-testing

Post by jeffball610 »

So I might need to get rid of this nice JMF unit that I got for my project car. I ran into some interference issues with it and my brake master cylinder and is just too long for me. I hate to get rid of it cause it's just so purdy and is VERY well made. If anyone is interested let me know. Retail is $475 and I'll take $400 cash or trade for some parts. It has never been run, only mocked up on a clean motor.

I still need some 650cc (or so) injectors, an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and a blow off valve that I could take on trade. Let me know if anyone is interested. I might hang onto this for a while, but this might be better off in someone else's hands.

There has been some interest in this manifold and I just want to clear up a few things so you are sure you're getting a manifold that will fit your application. Unlike what I did.

The manifold itself measures 10" from the head flange to the throttle body side and is 9" on the other end. The plenum is about 16.75" long. The back side of the plenum does not protrude past the head flange, but the front does. This is where my issue was at. The flange for the throttle body (setup for stock 1G TB) sticks out beyond the head flange and is about even with the back of the cam gears. There is no interference with the cams, but I used that as a visual reference for how far out it goes. I can take some detailed pics if needed on the engine I have. If anyone has more questions, just PM me. If anyone would like some pictures of how this sits in my engine bay, let me know.

If you want general pictures or just want to have a better idea of what it looks like, just go to the JMF website. This is the same as the "race" manifold, only reversed the plenum for RWD. Mine is not polished. Also, the flange for the throttle cable is not welded on the plenum since the TB will also be flipped around.

Negative. I traded it for some Denso 680cc injectors and an Aeromotive AFPR. Wish I could have gotten more for it, but I needed to get those items anyway and it was a simple trade.

You might be able to buy it from the guy I traded it to. Ask for Don Walker at http://hrd-performance.com
