1985 Dodge Ram 50 custom with 4g63b???

Ran into a broke down SOHC carbed 1985 dodge ram 50 that on the firewall has stamped for the engine code g63b. It is a 4g63b. Didn't know that these trucks had this motor for this year. The guy is interested in selling the motor to as the body is shot from sitting for so long. My questions on this ...

Ok then I'm gonna stick to my original idea of destroking the 2.4L. Where can I find a set of connecting rods to return the destroked motor to a 0 deck height?

If I return the destroked 2.4L back to it's 0 deck height with longer rods what would turn the compression ratio to?

Would it be easier to just get a 4g63 wideblock DOHC or a 4g64 wideblock DOHC rather than messing around with the destroking proccess? The only difference between wide block and narrow block is just the transmission mounting distance correct?
