I have a engine harness, computer, and main relay for a 1992 Laser non-turbo. It is missing the body plugs but is otherwise complete. I was going to use it for my Arrow swap but I'm getting a 318. I'll take $100 plus shipping for all. Let me know.

1992 4g63 n/a engine w/ computer and MR

Up for grabs is my complete 1992 4G63 n/a engine with 78,000 miles on it. It has working A/C compressor, alternator, and P/S pump. Was going to use it as my swap motor for my Arrow but found a deal on a 318. Runs great no smoke, knocks, or surprises. Asking $400 which includes harness, computers ...

No custom intake here, just need the stock one done for now. Maybe later when I go turbo. You still want to do my intake? If so give me a call or mail at wtr440@yahoo.com. Thanx, Brent

Thanx, I guess I'll try and see how much JM wants for an intake. Otherwise, If you see a swap intake, I'm looking. Welding and machine shops I've talked to around here give me an "I'll do it" answer but an "I don't know about that look". Oklahoma, go figure.

4G63 EVO Intake

I saw a '03-'06 EVO 8 9 intake on ebay that also said 4G63 in the title. Will this fit on my first gen 4G63 head and can I use my thottle body? It looks as though it's facing the right way for my Arrow swap. Thanx, Brent

92 & 90 Plymouth Lasers for sale

About ready to do the 4g63 swap for my Arrow and need some monetary motivation.
-1992 Laser FWD non-turbo manual PW PL with no engine or engine harness. It had the 4g63. Good interior and body except for hood. Clear title. Bought it for the engine and harness and don't need the rest.
-1990 Laser ...

The thermostat housing and intake get in the way of the firewall is what I'm told unless you modify the intake and housing or move the engine forward.

What are you going to do about the rear head clearance with the thermostat housing? What clutch setup will you use? Good luck, my Arrow's next. Nice Duster in the background. Small block dodges drop in too a MM pretty easy. 440's in a Duster, not so easy.

I'm fixin to do a swap in my '80 Arrow soon. Want to get the engine pulled from the Laser so I can sell it by tax time. I, however, will be using the stock 4-speed manual. I don't think I'll move engine forward either. I'll have a little more room since mine is non-turbo. Good luck and keep posting ...

This swap looks pretty straight forward except for rear head clearance problems. Is that true? Another site said he's only seen two swaps where the car is driveable. What could be so hard about it?

When are you planning to have your car running? I haven't started the swap in my truck until I get these details (clutch and intake) sewn up. I might buy a used rwd intake if the price is right.

4g63 swap

Hello all. New here but I've been surfin' mightyd50 for awhile. I have a question about swappin. Can I use the O.E. clutch from my '80 Arrow with a FWD flywheel or do I need to rig up the hydraulic setup? Also, is water cavitation in the head a big enough problem if you do a water pipe coming out of ...
