How about something odd like a chevette? Already rear wheel drive. Light weight being that it's around 2000lbs. No one would think of it having a 4g63 with I'm guessing large turbo on it. I've seen then with big block chevys in them so fit shouldn't be a problem. People do drag race them so finding ...

Maybe that's too odd of a trans for anyone to have tried. Besides the t56, r154 and the Mazda one ( was that a rm172?), has anyone used any other manual trans with these engines with any luck? Is there a reason these are the popular choices?

does anyone know off hand if the New Process Gear NP535 (also known as New Venture Gear NV2500) will bolt up with a narrow block 4g63?
