Sorry to semi-hijack your project thread, but has anyone done the 2.4L head swap onto the 2.0L block for fuel-injection upgrade? If so, what were your conclusions?

Does anyone have a recommended source for valve springs for a SOHC 2.0L? I have a Tredia 8-valve head (no MCA), and at least 3 don't meet uncompressed spring-height spec.

Also, I have a KM-132 w/188K miles on it that I'm willing to swap or sell. D50 bucket seats might be worthy.

Excellent point. Muriatic acid is good to use when you don't need the globby-stick of naval jelly. Just rinse it off real clean. Doesn't hurt ...

If it's an '86, it is most likely the A904, as you suggest. It was reputed to be something of a dog.
