I am not aware of anyone who is making adapters for the 6g72, there was a 3/S on ebay years ago with a rwd swap and running a GM auto trans.

Some of the trucks and monteros came with the v6, so there are options available, just not sure how well they would hold up to the abuse.

Call up Kennedy Enginering out in Cali.. They've been making all sorts of adapters for decades.

Lil late on this only rwd 6g7X tranny mitsu ever made is out of a montero sport and its an automatic. Rest of em are either 4wd, fwd, or awd. As I'm sure your aware.

Ive seen pics of a 6g74 shoehorned into a Quest before.

Charlie's got a forum for 6g72 rwd conversions its awfully slow but very good discussions when active. He's alos working on making an adapter that will allow a nicely built 6g7XTT motor be rwd.
