The B2600 will only bolt to the wideblock 4G63 / 4G64. It will not bolt to the narrow block that is found in the Eclipse.
Feel free to follow Bill's progress on T56 narrowblock and wideblock bellhousings in this thread:

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

That bolt pattern is neither wide nor narrow. It is what we call an "Evo" bolt pattern. I think if there were to be any of those, they'd be about a year out.

what Dj is saying is there is currently no transmission available to mount a later evo motor in a rwd application. The bolt pattern for the bellhousing is unique. Your only option is to make a adapter for T-56 or another strong transmission. Maybe Buscher offers a adapter plate for 03 and later evo motor.

Your best option is to sell the Evo motor. I hear they go for lots of $$$. Use what you get from that to build a 2.4L wideblock (6 bolt) and put a B2600 transmission behind it. If the B2200 and B2600 chassis / differentials are the same, you should be able to use the B2600 driveshaft. Try the 2200 shaft first.. you won't know if it works until you try it.
But yeah. I'll say it again. Sell the evo motor and build a 2.4L wideblock (6 bolt).
