WTB: 6-bolt FWD Flywheel

Post by jeffball610 »

I'm in need of a FWD flywheel for my 90 Colt GT swapped 4G63. It will probably be too much to ship because of weight, but if anyone can get one to Colorado 81212 cheap enough, let me know.

I've got one already with a pilot bearing. Would like to sell it with the clutch which is still in great condition.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

They fit into flatrate boxes just fine so shipping will be under 10 bucks.

Holy crap! That's awesome. That's probably the heaviest thing to go into a flat-rate!

I broke down and went to eBay. I got a Fidanza 8lb unit and Excedy clutch for under $300 shipped. I"m sure the 8lb unit will be a little hard to drive with the RPMs dropping off fast. But since it's FWD, I won't need the extra mass to help get things moving off the line.

Nope. I fit two toyota cast iron 4 piston calipers in them and were right around 40 lbs. Now they put a limit on it but it's still pretty high. I was able to get my old 280Z clutch and flywheel both in a flatrate. You'd be amazed what you can all jammed into those things. 8)
