Can some one please help me identify my motor? i just bought a 4g63 DOHC but hot sure what it is out of ,it has a red rocker and the valves have T6 on them and engine no is 4G63 LL7983 the pistons look like low comp types with 4 grooves so the valves won't hit,i pulled the sump of it has oil squirter's and the main caps are joined to each other,it has 6 bolts on flywheel and the pistons are marked 63dt,thanks in advance
i,m going to fit it into my 79 scorpion so if anyone has done this before some advice would be greatly appreciated

Sounds like a Japanese Galant VR4 engine. Does the oil filter housing have the provisions for an external air cooled oil cooler?

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

when i get to work on Monday ill have a look to see if it has an oil cooler outlet.
