B2600 Tranny For Sale or Trade

Post by B4G63 »

I would like to either sell or trade my B2600 tranny and bellhousing. Tranny has right around 75k miles, good working condition.

I would prefer to trade for a narrow bellhousing pattern D50 tranny, good working condition, preferably with a 4G63 flywheel with a pilot bearing already machined in the flywheel for the D50 tranny and maybe even the clutch. I'm willing to negotiate.

I know DJpowerHAUS has went through quite a few of these trannies and is looking for a B2600 bellhousing, so this is directed mainly to him. Anyone else is still more than welcome though too.

Either throw a post back up or you can call 816-294-3019.

Getting the engine bolted in is about 10% of the way there.
The next 80% can go quickly with help and skill.
That last 10% takes about as long as the 90% that came before it.

Take it you found a B2600 bellhousing?

Any chance you've got a good D50 narrow pattern laying around?

Im off topic here, i'll ask anyway... I have a laser rs (fwd) with a slip diff...If i found a AWD 4g63t tranny could i modd it and use it for a FWD set-up, then that way i would have limited slip diff... am i right?

I know the JDM Galant VR4 transmission was switchable between 4WD and FWD... you could look into the internals of how it actually works... or just get a JDM VR4 trans.... but still... I dont think they even have LSDs

THanks....im just trying to find a cheap way to have limited slip....:) Either way, i'll be able to run 12's putting down 350-400whp :) And if my 2.6 blows up or something then i'll do a swap...but i don't see that happening anytime soon, she runs like a dream!!! maybe within a year or 2 there will be more alternitives for the RWD set-up, but in the mean time i'll modd the laser!! Sorry im off topic guys..

I really don't want to get rid of just the bellhousing, because then I have a tranny I don't have anything I can do with. But its not completely out of the question. Make an offer, if its reasonable we can probably work something out.
