ok i took the plunge ;x

So Saturday i started the investment on my future. Picked up a 4g64(WB) and dohc head for $215, kinda pissed at myself because i didn't get to swap over the dohc oil pump and timing components(ran out of time). Kinda funny how it worked out, my local pnp was having a sale(%15 off) on complete engines. so i pulled a 4g63 head and a 4g64 motor, took the sohc head off and placed the dohc head on and you have yourself a complete motor ;x i think it will save some money in the long run.

i think im going to use the starion tranny unless something comes my way too cheap to pass up.

so far i have
4g64 block/crank/rods
4g63 head/manifold
wideband
and a running conquest =D lol

need
pistons
machine work
timing components
4g63 oil pump
gaskets
MEGASQUIRT :p
and last but not least MONEY!!

i also put together my first megasquirt, not to hard but ive been chipping ecu's for a while so i do have the experience. if some one needs one assembled maby we can work sumin out(parts wise) :)

just had to rant :)

You will need a dohc front cover and oil pump balance shaft for the conversion
The Honda manifold looks to be an interesting project with a bit of blending of the runners after you have mated it to the new flange
Flow testing the finished manifold will be interesting
Please keep us informed :D
