I am looking to buy the TH350 adapter plate, so we can get started on our project. Also will need the torque converter starter gear, and maybe a good torque converter.

I have been doing more research and the 8.8 rear seems to be the right choice. I though chevy would be easy if using a chevy trans, but I guess making a custom drive shaft is not as hard as it sounds.

This is going to be a trailered drag car, not too much highway ...
