What timing parts do I buy for this 4g63t/4g64 hybrid swap? Obviously the 4g63 head is dual cam so the regualr mighty max 4g64 timing components won't work. Does anyone know what parts I would buy and where I would buy them from. Please help, trying to put the block in the machine shop tomorrow ...

Yes I believe the truck I got the engine out of was set up stock as a 2.4 Sohc 8 valve head.

Well it's a freakin truck tranny, to me it shifts like crap in the quest. Just don't think its made to be shifted like I'm doing it and I don't think it can take it much longer. the quest is much heavier than the truck the tranny came out of.

So d50 disc, with dsm pressure plate, and so that would mean a dsm flywheel too? Someone I talked to also mention something about using the pre 1987 starion flywheel. I bought a 4g63 pre-swapped quest a few weeks ago. The clutch is going bad in it. The guy I bought the car from said it has the d50 tranny in it. I need to buy a clutch for it asap. I think i'ma just go with a stock clutch though because I don't know if I am going to end up swapping out this tranny ...
