I was really leaning towards the 302 swap because I don't think I'm gonna want to deal with putting together a RWD 4g63, and the $$ needed to make the 4g63 work for my HP goals seems a little high (but let's face it 400rwhp isn't cheap no matter what)

thanks for the reply DJ, are any of these heads better or preferred? I could have sworn the newer heads had some type of valvetrain improvement, but I can't find where I read that now

you know DJ, I saw that sticky...there are just so many g63b/g64 motors that it 's almost a little overwhelming for me...I just hate being new to something and not having all the right answers in my head already

well I'm no mitsu expert by any means, so I am kind of planning on having this project take place in a few major steps...the first one being replacing the turbo and enjoying the car a bit with the g54b...while stock piling parts to perform the swap kinda all at once ish...and I'm hoping to keep the ...

most definitely a manual, I guess part of my confusion about all of this is, what is so bad about the starquests stock trans? is it a power holding issue? or does it really suck that much that is worth the hassle to swap in one of the other transmission ?
