Just a note for us Australians the 4g54 came in both wide and narrow block depending on the gearbox and car.

I would like the whole thermostat housing including the cap if possible.Whoever gets there first just shoot me a pm and ill make sure you get fixed up asap.Thanks again guys

Can anyone plaese tell me the part number for this thermostat housing? Because im over in Australia i don't wish to order the wrong one and be stuck with a housing that i cannot use. I have had a friend search through caps but there is 3 different part numbers and only one generic picture.Otherwise ...

I still can't figure out where the hell that oil is coming from:

I think that the oil is coming from the bolts in your rocker cover.There is two types with different lengths and the centre ones are different.Maybe try swapping these around.

there are a ton of these at the yards. I'll go stock up on them for any of you aussie guys who might need one. I'm sure they wont cost much at all either. I woulda never thought a saturn egine would share thermo housings with a damn sirius engine

No worries champ.Im still trying to sort out the whole thermostat thing but after reading a few posts here i am changing my ideas slightly.Glad to see a few more people giving it a go and in different cars to.
