I have an 89 d-50 with an auto tranny (wideblock) I am putting a new engine with a KM132 behind it. (narrow block) will I have to change my driveshafts or can I use the saem one...If I can then AWESOME....but if I cant, will a driveshaft from a 2.6 with a 5spd work?????

some of them can be wide but this is from an 89 D50. My auto is wide...I was just wondering before I got the new tranny if it is going to be wide as well...I might not be able to know until I get the tranny but oh well....

thats what I thought....oh well...the only options I have is an adapter plate for my current tranny or get all the manual parts for the new one right? thats fine with me if I have to since it is a cable instead of a hydro clutch. I hate running hydraulic lines. but yeah whenever I get it I will tell ...

Hey guys...I have a 4g63b wideblock in my 89 D50 and I am getting a new engine and transmission frmo a guy.....seeing as my auto truck is a wideblock....is the km132 5spd tranny that he is selling a wideblock or narrowblock transmission??? if it comes both ways then I can ask him and see if he can ...

if I swap everythign form a g63t will I still haev to move everythign up about 3 inches...I do NOT want to mess with my firewall......if I need to move it up I will seeing as I already have an extra transmission mount and cross member......

I believe my block is good....it smokes cuz the rings are bad but it doesnt knock or anything and it isnt blown.....I was told it would be hard so I am going to get a g63t and put it all on my block and go with it....would I have to get just the rings or a whole engine rebuild kit just to be safe ...

I am in need of a new engine in my 89 d-50....I have read all about the 4g63t swap and everything but I am still kinda fuzzy on it all.....I have a 2.0 widebody 4g63b in my truck right now and I want to get a new motor to bolt up into it and everythign...I know I will haev to move it up 3 inches ...
