on the DSM 4G63, you could check by looking at the timing belt side of the oil pan. If it caves in, in the center, then it is a 6 bolt, if it is flat acroos that side it is a 7 bolt. Wonder if that engine is the same -- anyone else ever hear of this?

Did you ever find out if the 93 and up Hyundai 4g63s were 7 bolts like the Mitsubishi versions, or stayed 6 bolt.

If I want to use a 4g64/g4cs in a AWD Talon, I need to find a narrow block, correct? I need not even look in a mighty max, but any van, expo, or car 4g64 should be narrow block.
