hold up guys just looked at the pictures of this style evo. The cam gears are on the driver side (american) and the tranny is on the pass side(american) But I cant see whether the trans will bolt up or not. Turbo is still at the front... intake next to the firewall.

ok it spins in the same direction but the accesories would be on the opposite side? In a rwd swap the intake would be on the passenger side and exhaust on the driver. The motor would be going in a mm/d-50, which means Ill be using the trans from the pick up. This would mean that Id prob have ta use ...

awww crap.... reverse rotating are ya serious? It is a 93 year model not a 99 like I misquoted earlier. I still need more hardcore info before I spend money on something that might be worthless to me. If the earlier ones are identical to the stateside market Im golden right?

awesome. was that setup on a website or in person? Msd is located here in Texas. I bet if I had enough time and a catalog (MSD) to figure it out it prob be kinda easy. btw does the cas sensor send voltage or is it like a hall effect trigger.

Were there any dohc heads that had a distributor instead of the coil pack?The reason I ask is because the sohc head on my d50 is toast and I cant afford the whole conversion yet. dohc questions

I was walking through the junkyard looking for mitsu parts and was wondering if mitsu sold any engines to kia or hyundai. The heads and belts looked identical (placement) and what performance could they produce. I read that some hyundai heads could swap over. Is this true?
