They aren't that hard to find. I buy 1-2 a year. Sometimes you have to travel a little bit to get them or deal with shipping though.

Gvr4s are around 3300lbs. Some 2gs are as well. There are 3300-3500lb mitsus with NA 4g6Xs stock. People will 4g6Xt swap 3000gts and they are around 3800lbs.

One difference between the montero sport 2.4 block and the mighty max/van 2.4 block is that it has the later evo deck pattern instead of the early deck pattern which opens up options for evo style heads.
