thanks guys - I've been doing a lot of tweaking on the Haltech, and it's running better now than it was then. I still have a lot of tuning to do, but I need to get the car done before I'm able to do that.

The 2 foot long four inch exhaust is very loud and makes the car just sound mean. You should ...

My RWD Project is alive!

My RWD Eagle Talon project is finally running! (click for a video) There's a whole lot more to do to finish the car, but it's coming along. :-)

The 4g64 deck height is also 6mm taller than the 4g63, so the piston's wrist pin is 3mm lower in the piston on the 4g64 pistons. If you use an overbored 4g63 piston in a 4g64 block, you'll have really low compression ;-)

I don't remember, but they seemed reasonable, for not measuring up my own pan and dicking with getting it cut. I think it was like $30-40. I was already down there for a few other things and picked it up.

Dave also has a lot of other stuff for RWD conversions, in stock. When I was there, he had ...

I wouldn't suggest stainless to go along with MS, especially since you're using a MIG and probably don't have a lot of experience welding SS.

Also, you can call up Buschur racing, and they'll sell you oil pan flanges. I bought two of them from Dave when I made my own.

And, it's cake to make your ...

ever thought of making any more headers since you already have the model and 1rst one made? I would be interested if the price were right.

I've been asked this on more than one occasion. Unfortunately, my time is very important to me, which would make the price of the header more than what most ...

It'd be awesome to see the actuall sump.

Oddly enough, I don't have any pictures of the sump pickup, but you can see pictures of the oilpan in that link I posted.

The sump pickup was relatively easy. I took some measurements on the stock sump pickup tubing, and ordered up some mild steel bends ...

DJpowerHaus: Yep, you're right. I had an aneurysm or something. The EVO 4g63 spins the same direction as the DSM 4g63.

I know what it was - a few years back I built a 4G64, but it spun backwards because it was a setup on some guy's boat. Crazy engine. We dry sumped it, and ran it on methanol ...

Hi guys,

This is my car and my project, something I've been working on for a
couple of years now doing all the fab with a good friend of mine. I found this thread from an email that was sent to me and I'd like to say thanks for the compliments, although I wish all the full resolution pictures hadn ...

The EVO 4g63 does spin the opposite direction of the DSM 4g63. It wouldn't be very hard to use the EVO8 electronics on a DSM 4g63 though, because the main difference you're going to run into is crank angle. So, use a DSM crank angle sensor (which is probably the most compatible with the DSM 4g63 ...
