7 bolt crank adapters for GM auto trans set up

the 7 bolt crank is much different then the 6 bolt for a host of reason I had to find out, a custom flexplate is included in these kits

2.1 destroker is the best way to go as far as the trans goes, the T 5 is smaller in size or you can use the TKO 500/600 on the same housing

the black and white wire feeds power ( voltage) from the ignition switch to the relay, then after the ECU commands the relay to turn 'on' ( using a ground) then the power (voltage) is taken from the relay to the fuel pump in the blue and green wire, yes

voltage leaves a trail like water down a hose and as it travels it looses its power so everytime voltage is used to turn on a switch or run a component the voltage drops by how much resistance it needs to overcome

it is not unusual to see a fuel pump running on 9.5 v but that is engineered into ...

okay, there are two sides to the ECU one side gathers information with V ref, the other side is the heavier wires that ground the injecters

inside the ECU is a transister, its an electrical SWITCH that replaced mechanica switches like the old style ignition points in a distributer

the ECU NEVER sends power to anything, it only sends grounds

in order to maintain a constant voltage ( because the voltage is different when charging) the ECU has a built in voltage regulater, it runs on 4.25 volts ( Vref)

as sensers get old and resitance to voltage increases the Vrev ( 4.25 ...

the ECU is not made to carry the load the fuel pump will devlop, its all done through the main relay
The ECU signals the main relay to run when the key is in 'start' position or 'run' position but not run if the engine is not running, its a saftey so the engine doesnt flood

there was one of the guys here that had a number on custom made pistons and it wasnt too bad, they were like $600.00 but you know? I am not a big fan of wiesco's, I ran them back in the 70's and they tended to distort under stress loads

I´m still like a big Questionmark about this really. colud be alittle because i dont understand english perfectly though.

this is the back part of the head, you can just make out the hole under the EGR port in the head, its there, you dont need to drill it, just open the head gasket where it lines up to the hole

restrict is not the proper word, you aare trying to control flow, so you dont want the front holes to push the coolant towards the back of the head, but you dont want to trap air in the front of the cylinder so you allow the front holes to bleed up throught the front while uncovering the holes in ...

when you look and look at a problem, you have to understand what you are working on ( fenders and grille) are not the problem, something is telling you not go go to the next level until you are happy with the original intent

its not the fenders, its the cab, it needs to set back another 3 inches ...

the AWD flywheel is 270mm in diameter, the FWD is 280mm in diameter, they use the same starter and clutch, the difference was the engineers needed to clear the rear drive to the AWD converter

I use the 270mm AWD flywheel on all my stuff because its lighter and the turbo spools faster

it comes down to expected horse power

horsepower is a direct input to how many lbs per hour you need

a reasonable guidline would be 3/8 in id for 1000 hp so you could go 1/4 in for 500 hp and 1/2 inch for 2000 hp

you can get a lot more involved then that but if you want to spend time on it ...
