Unfortunately the pressure plate of the turbo 4G63 engine didnt completely clear the bell housing of the KM119. I could shim the transmission a touch, but it's senseless to run a clutch that will hold more power than the transmission.

Currently the KM119 is in the car with a stock replacement ...

Sorry that was the km132 from a D50. There was someone on here that had a stock colt tranny in their car going 11's. Either way they seem to hold up if you don't beat the piss out of it.

Damn, well I wont be beating on it. But like I said, I'd love to drive it across the country again and I'll ...

It should hold up no problem as long as you not drifting and holeshoting the crap out of it. Mine broke from sticky stiff wall tires and wheel hop. Car was making low 300whp at the tire

You had a KM119 and were pushing around 300hp through it with sticky tires?

If that's the case, that's a huge ...

KM119 + STOCK 1G DSM 4G63 question

I posted this question over in the project car thread and had no reply, so I'm trying here:

Question: KM119 - will this handle the stock 200HP (technically 190 i guess) of the 4G63T? I don't drive like an asshole and I will likely run 7psi (wastegate pressure) so it may be less than 190hp ...

Thanks, it was a great time, I'm nearing completion of the 4G63 swap just in time for DSM shoot out.

The idea is that I can get this thing running reliably on the 4G63 and drive it across the country again. The KM119 looks brand new inside. However the question that has yet to be answered ...

4G63 1973 Colt / Galant Wagon

Hi everyone. I've been browsing the site a little, i see some old faces and names I've known from other forums over the years and lots of names I've heard through conversations about RWD 4G63 cars.

Earlier this year I flew out to San Francisco sight unseen to purchase a 73 Colt wagon with my ...
