I lucked out and found this at a local yard. I've gotten rid of my Max, so I have no reason to keep it. Looking to get $200 for it.

I'm looking for an intake manifold modified for rwd use for my mighty max.

The balance shaft belt was fine, just the timing belt broke.

A cam tower? I'm accustomed to DOHC stuff, so I'm not sure what a cam tower is on a SOHC head. I could pull the valve cover off and check for bent valves, I suppose.

The odometer shows 146,000 miles, but it could be on it's second motor ...

I hope that's the case, but I've already thrown a new belt on it and tried starting it. It turns over like it has no compression at all. Of course, it's possible that I may have done the belt wrong, or the previous owner wasn't fully honest about what was wrong with the engine.

I just bought a 92 MM with the 2.4 SOHC motor. I got a good deal on it because the timing belt broke and ruined the head.
