RWD Partout
I'm parting out my RWD 4G Crossfire.
I have a lot of stuff to list so it will take a while to list everything.
First up is the Evo 8 twin scroll manifold, 16G turbo, stainless oil line(connects to OFH), wastegate open to atmosphere/down pipe with v-band and O2 bung, and 2 CNC milled stainless ...

I'm parting the engine and trans/adapter out. I may even sell the Crossfire as a roller. If there is no interest I will probably put a Ford 5.0 or 5.8 in it. The car was a blast on the highway but in town it really sucked. It would have been better with a manual transmission or higher stall converter.

Maybe this will make things a little simpler.
The MPI relay consists of two relays. One relay supplies power to the ecu, coils, injector resistor pack, etc... The second relay powers the fuel pump. It's coil is powered by two sources. The first source is the starter circuit, so the fuel pump comes ...

Long time with no updates. Finally got a little time to play around with the Crossfire. Still on 12psi of boost but that should change next weekend.

This Thursday I will be working on this project again. It's just been sitting in the garage for a while. The only thing that I have done related to the Crossfire is rebuild an Eaton Gen3 M90 supercharger. I have a really simple plan for a manifold for the twin charger setup that I will document here ...

It's been a while since I posted anything new. Finally had some time to work on the car. I had to fix some small problems(oil leak, trans fluid leak). I took some time to clean up the wiring and paint a few things too. I am missing my LM-A cable so I haven't been able to data-log rpm. I hate the ...

Ran into another problem. I tested the fuel system and had a leaking injector o-ring. Got a set and pulled the injectors. One of the pintle caps was cracked and would not stay on. I read several different post, some say its ok to run without them, some say otherwise. At this point I'd rather wait on ...

I need a spacer that is about 1 and a half to two inches for it to fit. Have you seen any pics of this? I imagine I would need two flanges with pipe welded between them.

So, the Evo three manifold with an adapter for the twin scroll Evo 8 will not work. It's too close/interferes with the block. I think the solution is to buy a tubular evo manifold. Cut the head flange off, add about two inches of pipe and weld the flange back on. This should put the turbo up front ...

I was thinking on that one before I got my 20g. with all the stuff I am doing it was hard for me to go smaller than the 20. especially as how I want to eventually go to a ball bearing gt35 of some sort or another. Its really to bad you dont ...

Removed about 8 inches of snow off the car today. I picked up an evo 3 cast manifold with external wastegate flange and egt bung installed on it. It's also ceramic coated. I have about ten inches between the motor and wheel well to squeeze the Holset into. I choose the cast manifold because of the ...

I have the short block assembled and the head ready to install. Looks like I'll have 7.5 inches between the head and firewall. I installed the oil pan right after I took this pic. I may end up putting a big 16g or other bolt on turbo on instead of the Holset to avoid the headaches associated with ...

I have the head back together. I blended the valve seats into the ports on the intake side. I'll probably port match the intake and call it done. The exhaust valves were pitted badly so I got a set of SS valves machined and installed.
