Turbo lag in first gear sucked. It would spool at 2500 rpm, but 2500 rpm wouldn't come until about 25mph. It could have been solved with a better/higher stall torque converter.

I'm parting out my RWD 4G Crossfire.
I have a lot of stuff to list so it will take a while to list everything.
First up is the Evo 8 twin scroll manifold, 16G turbo, stainless oil line(connects to OFH), wastegate open to atmosphere/down pipe with v-band and O2 bung, and 2 CNC milled stainless ...

I'm parting the engine and trans/adapter out. I may even sell the Crossfire as a roller. If there is no interest I will probably put a Ford 5.0 or 5.8 in it. The car was a blast on the highway but in town it really sucked. It would have been better with a manual transmission or higher stall converter.

Maybe this will make things a little simpler.
The MPI relay consists of two relays. One relay supplies power to the ecu, coils, injector resistor pack, etc... The second relay powers the fuel pump. It's coil is powered by two sources. The first source is the starter circuit, so the fuel pump comes ...

IMO a 6 speed is pretty useless unless you are going for some kind of Bonneville speed record. You want your highway cruise RPM to be at or close to peak VE for fuel efficiency. I believe a stock 4g63 hits peak VE around 3000rpm.

Evo 8 manifold won't work because the compressor housing hits the balance shaft area of the block. It's 100% engine block interference. I'll post some pics Monday. I did buy a tubular Evo 8 manifold that I will modify to work for cheap.

So, the Evo three manifold with an adapter for the twin scroll Evo 8 will not work. It's too close/interferes with the block. I think the solution is to buy a tubular evo manifold.
