hey guys i have a 1981 ex lancer. started out with a 1200 cc engine which was carburated. i have since removed that and droped the 4g63t dohc into it. i have no ideas bout the wiring tho? i no which wires from the harness connect to which on the motor. im running a link ecu aswell which aparantly makes it easier to wire! any help for what ive actually got to do? |

To go from a non fuel injected body harness to a fuel injected engine harness you a looking at something entirely custom to your situation.
You are going to at least need to find the battery power, accessory power, and ground to the ECU from the chasis and hook those up. You did plumb a fuel injection pump in somewhere I hope, it needs to be switched from a relay. You could potentially have a running engine then if all the engine to ECU harness in intact. The ECU just responds to the input from the throttle and adjusts for the reaction by the various sensors. |
